This is a very popular, graceful looking tetra, native to Colombia. Mature males are easily determined by their blue eyes and longer fins. Best kept in a planted aquarium with other peaceful species, it is not unusual to have self-sustaining populations in heavily planted aquaria. Maximum size is about 5cm.
