The Gold Mystery Snail is an excellent scavenger for the heated aquarium, efficient and also a striking gold colour. These are hardy snails, but do not keep them with fish such as large Cichlids, as the latter often prey on snails, even large ones. Ensure the aquarium is well covered - Mystery Snails lay their egg clusters above the water surface and occasionally climb out! Upon hatching, the young snails drop back into the water, perfect miniatures of the adult snails.
