The Opaline Gourami is a very nice aquarium strain of the Three Spot Gourami, with variable light and dark blue marbling. One of the hardiest of the gouramies, they are not fussy about water conditions or diet, even tolerating slightly cooler temperatures (18-20 C). Both sexes are very similar in appearance; mature males have longer more pointed dorsal fins. Maximum size is 10-12cm.
