The vivid colours of the Dwarf Gourami male are among the brightest of freshwater fishes. An ideal community fish, they are extremely popular. A number of colourful variations have been developed including the Glowlight Dwarf Gourami, with its striped body with enchanced iridescence. Males grow to about 6cm.
