The vivid colours of the Dwarf Gourami male are among the brightest of freshwater fishes. An ideal community fish, they are extremely popular. The wild form has also been developed into a number of colourful variations, adding to the appeal of this lovely fish. Native to northern India, males grow to about 6cm.
